Description:

This is our first single origin roast being released from the NEW Forecast HQ, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. This Pink Bourbon comes from the El Bombo Cooperative in Pitalito, Huila, Colombia, a group of more than 80 producers working together to bring their coffees to market. The producers are organic certified and work across small family farms, typically between 1 and 5 hectares, where ripe cherries are selectively handpicked, fermented for 12–36 hours and fully washed before being dried on patios, raised beds and in marquesinas. The result is a beautifully clean and expressive coffee that really lets the Pink Bourbon variety shine.

In the cup, we’re tasting white guava, nectarine and Meyer lemon, with a bright, juicy acidity and a delicate sweetness throughout. It’s the kind of coffee that we love to drink slowly and watch change as it cools. We recommend brewing this one as a drip coffee to really let those fruit-forward flavours come through. We’re so excited to be dropping this coffee from our new home and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
