The Oromia region of Ethiopia is widely regarded as the region where coffee originated; it’s true birthplace. Accounting for nearly 65% of Ethiopia’s coffee growing land, Oromia is a naturally diverse region, producing natural and washed processed coffees throughout it’s six areas: Harar, Jimma, Limmu, Nekemte, Sidamo and Yirgacheffe.
For Forecast’s Spring seasonal coffee, we chose a washed coffee from Oromia. A beautifully clean coffee, in the cup you can expect a delicate, smooth bodied, complex profile with notes of apricot, jasmine and candied lemon. Sweet and articulate, Primavera is perfect for the season and will lend itself to hot or cold brews.
